Behind the Scenes

I’m a writer, a reader, a yoga enthusiast, a cook and if I do say so myself, a chocolate authority. And yes, I can make a good writer great.

I’ve spent over 20 years serving the entertainment and publishing industries. I work with novelists who are published with Berkley, Simon & Schuster, St. Martin’s Press, and Scholastic along with successful indie endeavors, and screenwriters whose work has been sold to major production companies and television networks.

My articles have appeared in national newspapers and I have worked on publicity campaigns for nationally and internationally recognized companies. I was privileged to teach public relations at Pepperdine University in Malibu and provide countless professionals with private instruction on public speaking techniques.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California (go Trojans!) and while there I was fortunate to study under famed writers including Gay Talese, Betty Friedan, T.C. Boyle, John Retchy, and Noel Riley Fitch.

And if I were ever stranded on a desert isle, I hope it’s with another writer.
